The Beach Street Knitting Society and Yarn Club by Gil McNeil

What a delight with such a strange beginning…A woman is told by her husband he is having an affair and wants a divorce, then is in a fatal accident. With such a tragic beginning, I wasn’t expecting such a funny, touching novel.

Jo moves from London to a small town and takes over her Gran’s wool/knitting shop. She has two young (six and four) sons who keep her life exciting. The author is British and has a very dry wit, which I totally enjoyed! If you happen to be a knitter, you’ll probably enjoy it even more than I did.
